                         Busch Stadium

The Cardinals Care 6K is a fundraising event like no other.  This exclusive 6K run pays tribute to Stan Musial’s legacy, promotes health and fitness, and serves as a major fundraiser for the team’s community fund, Cardinals Care.  In order to participate, each runner must ultimately raise or donate a total of $150.  Registration fee is included as a contribution towards your goal.  All participants are encouraged to gather support of their efforts through donations—if you raise $122, it only costs you $28 to run!  The top ten fundraisers will be recognized during an on-field ceremony prior to a St. Louis Cardinals home game.   

The race route encompasses some of the city’s famous landmarks, including the Gateway Arch, Kiener Plaza, and the new CityGarden, culminating in a photographic finish at home inside Busch Stadium.  As the best fans in baseball, friends and family are invited to cheer you on from the stands!  There will be an imposed time limit for all runners/walkers of 1 hour, 45 minutes (28 minutes/mile pace).  Participants who fall behind the pace will be allowed to complete the event, but will be asked to move to the sidewalks.

Cardinals Care is the St. Louis Cardinals’ community foundation dedicated to Caring for Kids! This mission statement is achieved through numerous programs supported by volunteers, sponsors, and the participation of the St. Louis Cardinals’ players, coaches, staff, and loyal fans. Thanks to your generous assistance, Cardinals Care is able to build baseball fields, support youth baseball teams, and provide cash grants to children’s agencies. Since its inception in 1997, we have distributed more than $17.1 million to support organizations in and around St. Louis. 

Funds raised by and through the Cardinals Care 6K will be used to support Cardinals Care and their numerous youth-focused programs. All net proceeds go directly to Cardinals Care. Find Out More
